Frequently asked questions

At Ham.makes.art, we're passionate about bringing vibrant, original art into your space. As a new online shop based in Melbourne, Australia, we aim to make purchasing art prints straightforward and enjoyable. Here are some of the questions we hear most often.

What's the difference between fine art cotton rag and your cheaper print on demand (POD) prints?

Our fine art cotton rag prints offer superior archival quality with a beautiful, textured matte finish, perfect for showcasing the depth and vibrancy of original artworks. Our more affordable POD prints, produced through trusted partners, provide an excellent balance of quality and value, making art accessible to everyone. While both options deliver stunning results, the cotton rag prints offer a premium, museum-grade experience.

What is your policy if I'm not happy with my print or want to return it?

We want you to love your art! We offer a 30-day return policy, no questions asked. If you're not completely satisfied with your print, simply contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange a return and refund.

How do you handle shipping orders? What do I need to know about delivery times or costs?

Shipping is handled directly through our trusted printing partners, The Pineapple Gallery and Gelato. This ensures efficient and professional delivery of your art prints. Delivery times and costs will vary depending on your location and the specific print chosen. You'll receive tracking information once your order has shipped so you can monitor its journey.

Do your prints need any special care or framing advice to keep them looking their best?

All our prints come unframed, giving you the flexibility to choose framing that best suits your style and space. To keep your prints looking their best, we recommend framing them behind UV-protective glass to prevent fading and displaying them away from direct sunlight or high humidity. Handle prints with clean, dry hands or wear cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints.
